The reluctant spring continues
We had a lovely visit from Doug and Linda and took them to some of our favorite spots in the HRV. The reluctant spring makes for slow going with yard work and the overcast days tend to dampen one's spirits. I did manage to see PRESENT LAUGHTER in NYC which was wonderful --the whole thing--directing, design, acting, directing --and a spectacular leading performance by Kevin Kline! Also saw a very fun production of DEATHTRAP which my friend, Joyce Cohen, was in and CAGNEY off -broadway which another pal, Bobby Creighton starred in and I was blessed to see his final perf. in the role! Memorial Day weekend we had a visit from our neighbor, Joe, who lifted our spirits even though it was overcast the whole weekend.
