April --where is spring?

April Fool's indeed! Woke up to snow on April 1st--and freezing temps--BRRRRR! However on walks we have seen some green and purple and yellow showing themselves to the world--so spring must be somewhere even if a bit lazy this year. Went to the Whitney with my friend, Sandra, had dinner with Jonathan Weir who was in from Chicago doing THE LION KING for 6 weeks, went to Millerton and finally tried the Oakhurst Diner which is very good indeed and sadly last of all lost a friend and colleague, Rene Moreno, who left us too soon. He was a talented actor and director and a wonder--RIP. My darling husband turns 70 this month so there are things to be thankful for in this workaday world.
